Aptiva -- Updating country-specific telephone dialing information

Symptom:
Telephone providers in many countries have changed the method used to dial long distance (toll calls) within the country and/or international calls outside the country. Sometimes your computer will not dial long-distance or international calls properly.
Solution:
A file on your computer called TELEPHON.INI controls the way Windows 95 dials the telephone.
If you are experiencing problems dialing long-distance or international calls with your computer, you may need to update the TELEPHON.INI file. Information for doing this may be found at:
