Aptiva - Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 Update Connector

Symptoms:
When the user opens Update Connector the first two options are to continue or exit. If the user continues they are then given the License agreement. There should be two buttons down in the lower center of the screen that allow you to continue. In some cases they do not appear, instead the box is grayed out completely.
Workaround:
A fix is available via the IBM Aptiva eSupport Page.
Closing and opening IBM Update Connector again will fix the grayed out boxes, however it may take several repetitions of closing and opening before the application will work.
Systems Affected:
2161 and 2162 All Models World Wide.
2140 and 2142 All Models World Wide.
Additional Notes: This is an intermittent defect that may or may not exhibit itself on all systems. It is caused by a failure to redraw the frames portion of IBM Update Connector.
