IBM IntelliStation M Pro (Type 6889) - NetFinity installation appears to hang system

SYMPTOM:
During an installation of Netfinity 4.14 from the Ready-To-Configure (RTC) CD-ROM user interface, the newly created Netfinity folder window opens over the RTC installation window causing the RTC application to appear to be hung.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip applies, but is not limited to, IBM IntelliStation M Pro Series 6889 systems installed with Windows 95.

After the Netfinity folder window opens over the RTC Installation window, the mouse pointer may remain as an hourglass symbol.

FIX:
Close the Netfinity folder window to complete the Netfinity installation.
