Aptiva - Recreating lost icons in Windows

Service Information:
If you have lost some of your icons in windows and you would like them back, simply follow the instructions below :-
1.You need to highlight the folder you want your icon to appear in (if you do not have the folder as well the procedure for recreating this is explained a little lower down this document).
2. From the PROGRAM MANAGER menu bar select FILE, then NEW.
3. Select PROGRAM ITEM by clicking on the radio button next to it and click on OK. Another dialogue box will appear.
4. Enter a DESCRIPTION (this will be displayed under the icon).
5. Enter the PATH and FILENAME of the windows program (if you are unsure what this is use the BROWSE option and a bit of guess work).
6. Enter the WORKING DIRECTORY.
7. Select an ICON.
8. Finally click on OK and you program should now have an icon.
If you need to recreate a folder, this can be done in a similarfashion :-
1. Select from the PROGRAM MANAGER menu bar FILE, NEW.
2. Select PROGRAM GROUP and click on OK.
3. Enter a description and then click on OK.
4. The folder will now be displayed on the desktop.
