Abstract: THINKPAD MEMORY OPTIONS
Reference: TP 365X/XD, 560, 760E/ED/EL
There have been reports from the field concerning problems with a batch of OBI Memory Options released for the referenced
ThinkPad models.
The problem manifests itself as incorrect memory size being reported by the system/BIOS (e.g. 8Mb reported as 130.855Mb).
Upon investigation it has been determined that the following part numbers are POTENTIALLY affected:

FRU recovery has been addressed via CESAL # FTS96033.
Anyone experiencing problems of this nature with these ThinkPad Memory Options should be directed to replace their SODIMM with the corresponding FRU.
