TP 600 - Latest BIOS helps the ThinkPad run cooler

SYMPTOM:
The ThinkPad is getting warmer than usual (note: this does not cause a technical of safety problem).
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad 600 (not 600E).
SOLUTION:
Upgrading the BIOS to v 1.05 or later will induce the fan to kick in at a lower temperature, avoiding the symptom. To download the latest BIOS level, click here.
