TP General/Aptiva - Undoing a restore in ConfigSafe
Applicable to: World-Wide
Q: I've done a Restore and that hasn't fixed my problem. Is there any way to reverse the Restore and go back to the previous configuration?
A: Yes. If you haven't taken another snapshot before doing a Restore, you can still return to that configuration. Restore comes with an Undo option (the Undo button is on the main ConfigSafe screen). Undo allows you to do a ONE-LEVEL partial or full Undo of the Restore by selecting the System Files and/or Registry Keys to undo. The DOS SOS utility also comes with an Undo feature.
