Changes to Information Labels
CDT product will have a '*' added after the model suffix on the info label (on underside of machine cover) and on the label at the rear of the machine. So cartons with IBM Commercial Desktop Product including the old Pentium chips will read 'xx1' and boxes including new Pentium 'xx1 *'.
The shipping cartons will have a '*' on the label after the date code, existing (old Pentium) has no '*'. For Servers, new product will be identified by the different prefix and 'P2' on the shipping carton label. On the machine type label at the front of the product 'P2' will also appear.
