Aptiva - No dial tone in Journalist
Applicable to: United States
1. Select Aptiva Productivity and then IBM Information Superhighway.
2. Start the Journalist, select 'YES' for CompuServe account information.
3. Select 'MODEM'.
4. Check 'Initialize' box contents for initialization string that contains 'D2^M'
in string. If it is not there, select 'RESET' or go to 'MODEM' type selection
and select 'Hayes Compatible(Default) or (Alternate).
5. Add 'X3' to line BETWEEN D2 and ^M.
6. Click 'OK' and then 'CANCEL'.
7. Select 'Close'.
