Symptom/Error

FRU/Action in Sequence

The system will not enter hibernation.

1. Go to "Hibernation Mode" on page 16 of the HMM and see the note.
2. Ensure the "System Hibernation Timer" in the Power Management Settings of BIOS Utility is not set to [OFF].
3. Boot an operating system and press Fn+F8 and see if the computer enters hibernation mode.
4. Keyboard connector board.

The system will not wake up from hibernation.

The system will not enter standby after closing the LCD.

1. Ensure the "System Standby Timer" in the Power Management Settings of BIOS Utility is not set to [OFF].

Battery fuel gauge does not go higher than 90%.

1. Remove battery pack and let it cool for 2 hours.

1. Enter BIOS Utility to execute Load Setup Default Settings, then reboot system.

System hangs intermittently.
