General Information
Step up to the maximum data storage capacity for your ThinkPad 570, 600 or 600E with IBM's 10.1 GB Hard Drive. This option provides almost unlimited space to travellers who want to take everything with them on their ThinkPad. Huge video, audio, and Internet files can easily share space with e-mail, spreadsheets, personal organizers, and custom screen savers. The new hard drive option can be used to replace your existing system drive or, with the ThinkPad UltraslimBay Hard Drive Adapter (05K5336), add a second hard drive to your ThinkPad 600, 600E, or 570 (through use of the 570 UltraBase). In addition to the benefits of extra storage, a second hard drive can be used for very high speed data and application backup. The convenience and speed of disk to disk backup is an alternative you will want to incorporate. The 10.1 GB har drive option balances the mobile requirements for capacity, performance, size, reliability, and enhanced power management to meet the high standards of our ThinkPad customers.
