Aptiva - Distorted or reversed MPEG video

Symptom:
After a Rapid Resume an MPEG video may appear distorted or as if it is reversed right to left with a split in the center of the screen.
Resolution:
Reboot and do not perform a Rapid Resume OR download and install the latest ATI Drivers from the IBM BBS.
