How can I re-install the MPEG software and drivers on my 2134/2159/2176 Aptiva?
Answer:
You may use the following steps to re-install the MPEG drivers on the above models of Aptiva.
1. Insert the blue Aptiva Diagnostic CD into the CDROM.
2. Double click on the "My Computer" icon.
3. Double click on "G" drive icon for the CDROM.
4. Double click on the "IBMBUILD" folder.
5. Double click on the "SOFTMPEG" folder.
6. Double click on the "SOFTMPEG" folder again.
7. Right click on "MPEGDRV".
8. Now click on "Install" with the left mouse button.
9. You need to restart the computer after the install is complete.
