The ThinkPad 770 Enhanced Video Adapter is well suited for ThinkPad system users with increasing requirements for emerging technologies, new applications, multimedia, and viewing encrypted movies.

The DVD Enhanced Video Adapter provides connectors for:

• An audio jack for Dolby** sound (provides for the connection of an external amplifier and external stereo speakers)
• Video in connector and video out connector

The ThinkPad 770 DVD Enhanced Video Adapter features:

• Enhanced DVD movie playback via hardware assisted MPEG-2 decoder
• Video in port for capturing and digitizing video and still images (composite and SVHS) (NTSC or PAL)
• Video out port to view ThinkPad display on TV or to allow recording of ThinkPad screen on VCR
• Dolby Digital AC-3 port enabling extremely high quality sound via an external AC-3 decoder/amplifier
