TP 560Z - Considerations for Windows NT

Below is a list of considerations for running Windows NT on your ThinkPad
- CardBus PC Cards are not supported.

- When using an IBM PC Card Token-Ring card, use the token-ring device driver IBM provides, not the Microsoft PC Card Token-Ring driver.

- Position/size is not adjusted when stopping full screen playback with MediaPlayer, then returning to the desktop with 64K color modes.

- Hibernation is not supported when the drive is formatted for NTFS.

- Multifunction PC cards are not supported.

- RI resume is not supported under Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.

- 3270 Emulation card and 5250 Emulation card do not work with CardWizard under Windows NT 4.0.

- Boot from PC HDDs

- An exception error occurs when playing back Indeo AVI files with ActiveMovie.

- QuickTime movie playback quality problem (random small rectangle blocks appear on video).

- When a network adapter card is installed and the system is in full suspend or hibernation mode, LDCM causes a page fault after resume.

- SDLC/SDLC modem PC card is not supported.
