General Information
The IBM ZIP 100MB IDE Internal Drive offers the capability of storing 100MB of data on a removable data diskette. It can be used in combination with, or in place of, the 1.44MB diskette drive that is currently installed in commercial desktop computer systems.

The drive can be operated in either a horizontal or vertical position and can function in locations where space is at a premium, necessitating non-standard device orientation. It uses a power down sleep mode to reduce unnecessary electrical power drain. It can also be configured to function as the Drive A: diskette drive for the system, providing the capability for system boot up from the drive.
