Crossbrand - What does the message "Bad command or file name" mean?

"Bad command or file name" appears when DOS cannot find the command you have requested. Verify that you have typed the command correctly and check to see that you are in the correct subdirectory. DOS will look in your current directory and in the subdirectories listed in your AUTOEXEC.BAT path.

DOS only executes files with the following extensions: EXE, COM, BAT and BAS.
