TP 755CE/CSE/CD/CV/CDV/CX - Etherjet ISA not being recognised in dock (Windows 95 / OS/2)
Applicable to: World-Wide
Abstract :
Etherjet ISA not being recognized in DOCK
Problem :
TP755CD/CE/CSE/CV/CDV/CX with either docking station. Has the Etherjet ISA card installed and when attempting to run Lanaid, getting an error about the Etherjet card is not found or that the network drivers are already loaded.
Solution:
Needs the timing fix, either YPTF012.EXE for DOS/Windows 95 or YPTF022.EXE for OS/2. The resulting files should be placed in the config.sys's according to the instructions that come with the file. The only change to those instructions is to put /M=T on the end. This applies whenever applying the timing fix to any of the above machines. Therefore the line should read;
DEVICE=C:\path\YPTF$012.SYS /M=T
or
DEVICE=C:\path\YPTF$022.SYS /M=T
Where "path" is the location of the file on the hard drive.
