TP General - France Minitel Configuration Problems

Problem
By default Mwave and ACP modems are not compatible with Minitel connections.
Solution
You need to give the internal modem a command string that will enable the modem to communicate with the Minitel.
Information
Additional information needs to be added to modem properties
Win95/98/NT
1) Click on START/ SETTINGS/ CONTROL PANEL
2) Select MODEM
3) Select PROPERTIES
4) Select CONNECTION
5) Select ADVANCED
6) In EXTRA SETTINGS add in the following parameters AT+MS=3
This parameter may cause problems with existing internet connections if this is the case try the following :
> AT&T$0
You may experience different problems depending on which ISP you are using. Alternative solutions are :
1) Create 2 modems 1 with the AT+MS=3 parameter.
2) Add the setting every time you wish to use the Minitel.
