TP 760,765 - FRU part number for FDD bezel that attaches to the drive

The purpose of this Tip is to list an alternate FRU part number for the FDD bezel in the 9546/9547 machine types that are CD-ROM models.
CD-ROM models and CD-ROM Upgradeable models ONLY:
The FRU part number for the FDD bezel is 83H5431. This FRU part attaches to the Floppy Disk and this assembly is installed into the ThinkPad machine. This bezel plastic covers the face of the floppy disk drive. This bezel can also be removed when the FDD is removed from the machine.
The FRU part number is listed in the Hardware Maintenance Manual Volume 4: IBM ThinkPad September 1997, part number S05L-1270-01 is correct.
The FRU part number 29H9196 is correct for models with CD-ROM units and it attaches to the base of the Thinkpad; this bezel remains on the base when the FDD unit is removed and must be removed when the CD-ROM used.
