Aptiva - Aptiva Communication Center icon does not work

If you are having trouble bringing the Communication Center to the foreground by clicking on the icon, the application is already running. What you will need to do is to bring up the 'Task List' by pressing "ALT"+"TAB" or you can use "CTRL"+"ESC" to see if it is running, or minimize the Program Manager to locate the program. This should make the application come to the foreground and be active.
