Aptiva - SCSI devices not supported by Rapid Resume

Symptom:
Models affected: 7xx, 8xx, 9xx, 1xx, 3xx
We have escalated various cases where Rapid Resume fails to work properly with SCSI adapters (including scanner cards). Often, the system appears to boot properly, but then hangs with a blank screen.
Problem Isolation Aid:
None
Fix:
The response from Development is that Rapid Resume does not support SCSI devices. There are no plans to re-write the BIOS to provide this support.
Either remove the SCSI adapter, or disable Rapid Resume.
