PC Server 320 - Adding cache

Applicable to: World-Wide

Adding cache to a PC Server 320

Orient the system board so the 8 cache sockets are in the lower right hand corner. Plug in the cache modules. Pin 1 of the modules is indicated by a dot. The modules should be plugged in with this dot in the lower left hand corner away from the processor sockets.

There are two Jumpers which must be moved; W5 and W10. Move W5 to jumper pins 2+3. Also move W10 to pins 2+3.

Note: MAKE SURE NO PINS ARE BENT WHEN THE MODULES ARE INSTALLED
