TP 350 - "Error: Card Services not installed" during boot with a PCMCIA Modem

Description:
"Error: Card Services not installed" when booting a ThinkPad 350C with a PCMCIA Modem.
Solution:
Check that RAMBOOST is not active. RAMBOOST blocks the memory resources required for PCMCIA support. Switch RAMBOOSToff in the startup files, install the PCMCIA files, and then switch RAMBOOST back on , and it should work. If not, just leave RAMBOOST switched off.
