Servers - Server running Windows NT 4.0 may hang during heavy file I/O

SYMPTOM:
The system stops responding (hangs) during heavy file I/O, such as multiple file copy sessions. The only option is to restart the computer. Problem effects any IBM system running Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0, Microsoft Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition version 4.0 - Microsoft Cluster Server.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
- The system is any IBM Server Certified to run any one (1) of the following Network Operating Systems:

Windows NT 4.0
Microsoft Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition version 4.0
Microsoft Cluster Server.

for the current list.

- The system running any one (1) of the following:

Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0
Microsoft Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition version 4.0
Microsoft Cluster Server

- The system can have one (1) or more processors.
