PS/1-Aptiva - Function of the Most Recently Used File list in Works

Works for Windows maintains a list of the four most recently used files at the bottom of the File menu. You can open these files directly from the File menu by selecting the filenames as you would select any other menu item. This list of files is nothing more than an internally-stored list of text strings. Consequently, the filename for a file that has been deleted may still appear in this list. If you try to open a file from this list that has been deleted, Works will issue the error message:
Cannot find file or file already open
However, the filenames in this list for files that have been deleted will be cycled out as new files are opened.
