Aptiva - Loose cable problem

Symptom:
IBM Norway have highlighted a number of incidents of cable errors in the field concerning IBM Aptiva systems. In specific cases, the data cable of the system unit planar has become loose during transit.
This notice is to advise you of the concern should you see a higher incident of boot fails. Loose cables should be reattached. Manufacturing will implement a high retention cable in Jan 97.
