TP General - How to set Windows 3.1x to use default keyboard drivers.

This document contains instructions on how to set Windows 3.1x to use default keyboard drivers.
This document provides instructions on how to set Windows 3.1x to use its default keyboard drivers. It should be used when an external keyboard has been installed and is causing problems. To perform this change, follow these steps.
1. Boot system and enter Windows 3.1x.
2. Click on File, then Run.
3. Type in SYSEDIT.
4. Press Enter. This will open the System Configuration Editor with the following windows inside of it: AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS SYSTEM.INI, and WIN.INI.
5. Click on the menu bar with C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI. This will bring it to the foreground.
6. Using the scroll bar on the right hand side of the window, locate the entry: Keybd.dll=???????? ( where the ???????? represents any settings.)
7. Click your mouse just after the = sign. Then delete everything after it on that line.
8. Click on File, then Close, and answer Yes to save changes to SYSTEM.INI.
9. Click on File, then Exit, and restart Windows 3.1x.
The computer is now using the default keyboard drivers supplied with Windows 3.1x.
