Aptiva - Problems with Autoplay and Torin's Passage
Applicable to: United States
If autoplay is enabled, and you double click on the Torin's Passage icon immediately after inserting the CD, the game will start to play. In about ten seconds you will get a dialog box saying "How about a nice game of Torin's Passage" If you click OK you will get another dialog box stating "cannot run two copies of game" Click on OK. Sometimes the mouse pointer will disappear. If this happens, you must hit ctrl alt del at the same time. Highlight Torin's Passage and then click on end task. Then restart the game from the icon.
To avoid this problem, either disable autoplay or wait for the game to start by itself after inserting the CD. It can take up to 15 seconds so please be patient.
