Trackpoint IV Keyboard - Internal Trackpoint does not enable on the ThinkPad 380ED

Environment:
ThinkPad 380ED, Windows NT, Windows 95 or Windows 98, Trackpoint keyboard support v1.00K.
Symptom:
The internal Trackpoint does not resume properly enabled or disabled after the keyboard is physically plugged or
unplugged for the system when in a suspend state.
Temporary Solution:
Re-boot the ThinkPad to activate the correct Trackpoint. Always shutdown system before plugging and unplugging the keyboard.
Permanent Solution:
Solution under development.
