PS/1-Aptiva - Revealing hidden columns in report view of Works

In Microsoft Works for DOS and Works for Windows version 2.00, if you try to hide columns (fields) by setting the field width to 0 (zero) in Report view, the error message "Column width not valid (1..79)" will be displayed.
However, fields can be hidden in List view by setting field widths to 0 (zero). If you do this, these fields will not be visible when a new report is viewed.
To retrieve hidden columns in the Report view, do the following
1. Position the cursor one column to the left of the hidden column. For example, highlight column A if column B is hidden.
2. Extend the cursor across the hidden column to the column on the right by pressing F8 and the RIGHT ARROW key to cover the field name in column C, for example.
3. From the Format menu, select Column Width.
4. In the Column Width dialog box, type a desired column width. Note that the number you enter for Column Width will also become the column width for the other two columns (these can be changed individually when the middle column is no longer hidden).
