Home and Away Credit Card Adapter - Installing in a TP701C

In order to install this card the following measures must be taken:
1. Install LAN support program or other supporting network software using the home and away installation diskette as the OEM device driver diskette.
2. Reboot the system.
3. With the installation diskette in drive A: switch to the A:\ and type install.
- Perform a custom installation, choosing these options:
Network : ndis (or appropriate one)
IRQ : 11
All else will work at defaults.
4. Press Fn+Fl to enter the configuration utility and make the following changes.
-Disable the infrared port.
-Disable the modem power. (Note: It is important that you actually disable the modem power and not just the modem port. Otherwise, you may experience EMM386 errors in windows.)
5. Reboot the system. The modem will be active on COM2.
