Aptiva - Phoenix Communication Center 2.0 upgrade

Phoenix Technologies has produced a version 2.0 of the Communication Center software for Windows 95, which is available from Phoenix Technologies.
According to Phoenix, this software will function as long as your modem is TAPI - Telephone API (Intel Corp. and Microsoft Corp.) compliant. The Mwave used in the 2134, 2144, 2168, and 2176 model Aptivas is NOT TAPI compliant and this upgrade therefore would not function and you should NOT use the Phoenix upgrade.
Currently there are no plans in place to make the Mwave TAPI compliant.
