IBM 3153 ASCII Terminal Display - Displays extra blank lines/rows between lines of data

Symptom:
3153 displays extra blank lines, rows between lines of data.
Background Information:
The 3153 Setup Parameter: Recv <CR> (Receive CR) can cause extra blank lines, extra lines when an application is displayed.
Recv <CR> = <CR>:
- The 3153 does a Carriage Return when the 3153 receives a Carriage Return ASCII control character.
Recv <CR> = <CR><LF>:
- The 3153 does a Carriage Return and a Line Feed when the 3153 receives a Carriage Return ASCII control character. This setting can cause the extra blank line to appear.
Recommended Solution:
Change the 3153 setup parameter Recv <CR>. Recommend setting: Recv <CR> = <CR>
Note:
When the 3153 is attached to the RS/6000 or AS/400, the preferred setting for Recv <CR> = <CR>
