Aptiva - Installing software programs on my PS/1 or Aptiva

There are literally thousands of software programs that will run on a PS/1 or Aptiva Computer. Most any program that will run on an IBM PS/2 or IBM Compatible will run on the IBM PS/1 or Aptiva (as long as the program does not require hardware that is not compatible with the IBM PS/1 or Aptiva). Before purchasing a software program, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer for compatibility and/or testing information. You may also write and review notes on the IBM Club on Prodigy, the IBM Connection on America Online, or the IBM Aptiva forum on CompuServe. This will allow you to find out what programs other PS/1 and Aptiva owners are successfully running.
