Aptiva - 2163/2164 Considerations - Cannot open UserGuide from Info Central

Description:
This consideration is regarding the inability to open UserGuide from Info Central.

Models affected:
2163 and 2164

How to duplicate:
To recreate the problem, open Info Central and click on the user guide link. It will tell you that the User Guide is on the CD and to insert the CD and hold the Shift key. It will not work and will bring up the same message again. Then install Acrobat, the ViaVoice single US CD on US build. This CD will work on the UK build. The install log in the ViaVoice\temp directory shows Acrobat NOT installed but it is and works fine for other things. There have been problems with reproducing this defect. It cannot be reproduced on the US09 build with the US single ViaVoice Office CD.

Root cause:

Workaround:
If the user is unable to get the Guide to launch automatically they can open Adobe, put the ViaVoice98 CD in, and launch the refus.pdf file from the CD.
