Download the file to a temporary directory on your hard drive. 2. Insert a blank, formated disk into the floppy drive. 3. Run the file by double-clicking on it from File Manager, Windows Explorer, or by typing the name of the file from a DOS prompt in the directory where you downloaded the file. For example, if you downloaded the file into a directory called TEMP, from a DOS prompt you want to first change to that directory (type CD\TEMP and press Enter) and then type in the filename that you downloaded. 4.
