Aptiva - Using the Aptiva Helper Backup Files option
Applicable to: United States
Choosing option 1 (smart moves) in the Aptiva Helper, and then clicking on <backup files> brings up the Emergency Recovery Utility. This only saves your CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, WIN.INI, SYSTEN.INI, PROTOCOL.INI, USER.DAT, SYSTEM.DAT, IO.SYS, COMMAND.COM and MSDOS.SYS files. It does not save any of your personal files.
