Installation instructions
To determine if you have to update the display driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.
Windows 95 (Retail Version, Service Pack 1)
1. Boot Windows 95.
2. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk.
3. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display.
4. Select the Settings tab.
5. Click on the Change Display Type... button.
6. Click on the Change... button under Adapter type field.
7. Click on the Have Disk... button.
8. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\VIDEO for the source path and click on the OK button.
9. Windows 95 finds NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV then click on the OK button. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your hard disk.
10. After driver files are copied, click on the Close button to close the Change Display Type window.
11. Select color depth, resolution, and font.
12. Click on the Close button to close the Display Properties windows.
13. Click on the Yes button to restart Windows 95.
Windows 95 (OSR2: OEM Service Release 2)
1. Boot Windows 95.
2. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk.
3. Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display.
4. Select the Settings tab.
5. Click on the Advanced Properties button.
6. Click on the Change... button in the Adapter tab.
7. Click on the Have Disk... button.
8. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\VIDEO for the source path and click on the OK button.
9. Windows 95 finds NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV then click on the OK button. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your hard disk.
10. After driver files are copied, click on the Close button to close the Advanced Display Properties window.

8. Click on the Next button.
9. Select the Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now.(Recommended) and click the Next button.
10. Put the check mark only in the Specify a location: check box and type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\VIDEO and click on the Next button.
11. Windows 98 finds NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV then click on Next button. Windows 98 copies all driver files to your hard disk.
12. After driver files are copied, click on the Finish button.
13. Click on the Yes button to restart Windows 98.

14. Open display control panel again.
15. Select the Settings tab.
16. Select color depth, resolution.
17. Click on the OK button.
--- Font setting ---
18. Open display control panel again.
19. Select the Settings tab.
20. Click on the Advanced... button.
21. Select font size.

23. Click on the Close button to close the Display Properties window.
24. Click on the Yes button to restart Windows 98.
