Aptiva - Correct video settings for optimal MPEG performance

The following document details how to correct video settings to optimize MPEG performance across the different operating systems.
Windows 95 systems:
At the Windows 95 Desktop, SELECT "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel". Double-click "Display", SELECT the "Settings" tab. Aptiva default settings are recommended. On left side of "Display Properties", "Color Palette" should be "256 Colors". To change setting, PRESS down arrow and SELELCT. "Desktop Area" should be 640 x 480 pixels. Drag pointer to change.
Window 3.1 systems:
In Program Manager, double-click "AptivaWare", double-click "Custom Tools," SELECT (single-click) "Display Select." Select "OK" if "monitor frequency undefined" message comes up. At "Select the Monitor Resolution" option, SELECT "640x480." At "Select the Number of Colors" option, SELECT "256." SELECT "OK," Close open windows and restart computer for settings to take effect.
OS/2 Systems:
At the OS/2 desktop, double-click, "OS/2 System" icon, open "System Setup," open "System," with "Screen" tab selected, "640x480x256" under "Screen Resolution should be the option selected." Close the windows and reboot system for settings to take effect.
