Aptiva - Disk space error occurs when installing QuickTime software
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
A disk space error will occur during the installation of CD Extra if the customer has previously installed an application that needed Quick Time software, for example: BodyWorks. The Error will occur during the QuickTime Installation of CD Extra. This error may occur on other software applications which utilize QuickTime
Problem:
QuickTime installation program which detects the existence of the Quick Time directory and then reports error.
Solution:
Click on OK and bypass the error. The CD Extra application will work fine.
Steps to replicate:
1. Install BodyWorks or another application that uses QuickTime.
2. Install CD Extra.
3. During the QuickTime portion of the installation, the disk space error will occur.
