Crossbrand - IBM ServicePac Selection Guide (EMEA Only)

ServicePacs:
Service Pacs for hardware maintenance should be ordered at the same time as the hardware and must be purchased within 30 days following the hardware sale to the customer. Please select from the attached guide the Service Pac number required for the machine type and model that the customer has purchased.

The service and typical response times that are provided with the packs, within 100Kms of an IBM Service Centre, and during normal office hours are:

PC Products
Mobile PCÆs	up to 4 years of maintenance, with 2 business days in Depot repair.
PC 300/700/Intellistation	3 years of on site maintenance with next business day response.
Aptiva	3 years of on site maintenance with next business day response.
PC Server	3 years of on site maintenance with 4 hrs response. Certain ServicePacÆs provide 24 hour by 7 days a week cover , as indicated in the guide. All ServicePacs include attached IBM PC Server Expansion Enclosures, with machine types of: 3517, 3518, 3519 and 3520.
Network Station	3 years of on site element exchange with next business day response for more information see PLET ZS98-0173.
BM SmoothStart Services	Installation offering for PC Clusters / Netfinity Servers. For more information see PLET ZS98-0207, or ZS98-0179

PC ServicePac's (excluding Mobile PCÆs) include cover for the IBM monitor*, keyboard , mouse and IBM options, where these are sold with the machine.
* (Note: flat panel display monitors are not included.)
