Aptiva - Mwave card problems (affected parts / field actions)

Aptiva Mwave Card
Aptiva Development has flagged a problem with the Danish, Finnish & French versions of the Mwave card used in Aptiva. The root cause of the problem is an incorrect component which was fitted by the card supplier.
The symptoms of the problem are failure to communicate or slow communication.

Actions Taken
1. CESAL's have been issued for MWAVE cards to COP.
2. Greenock stock has been reworked.
3. Parts will be available in Greenock for shipment from Tuesday 11th June.
4. Details of the customers who have received Machines with the affected card installed will be transmitted to the SPOC's when the information is available.
5. A RETAIN TIP has been issued Number H042884.
Field Actions
1. For individual Customers it is intended that the Warranty route be used for repair.
2. For large Customers Greenock are offering on-site support to rework the MWAVE card.
3. Good FRU's will be available from COP, in line with shipment ex-Greenock 11th June, for those Countries who will co-ordinate their own in-country fixes.
