ISDN-S0 Active 2000 Adapter - PCI card naming convention
Applicable to: World-Wide
Question:
What does PCI, PCI-S1, PCI-D2 for the PCI Active 2000 adapter mean?
Answer:
The name refers to the number of DSPs put onto the adapter. The PCI adapter doesn't have any DSP on it, so the G3 fax support is not given. PCI-S1 indicates that there is one DSP on the adapter itself for the G3 fax support on one channel. PCI-D2 has two DSPs, therefore you have two channels for G3 Fax support available.
