Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Tuneland
Applicable to: United States
To install Tuneland onto your Aptiva:
1. From your Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Insert the Tuneland CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the light to go on and then off.
3. Click on the "find install program" button if application was not installed previously or if installed previously, select "show uninstalled programs" tab.
4. Highlight the Tuneland icon by clicking on it once and then click on install
5. At the setup info screen, click OK
6. A destination dialog box appears next. The game installs into the C:\7THLEVEL\TUNELAND directory. Under installation type, click on full install, then click next
7. When it is done, a select program folder will appear; click next to accept 7th level as default program folder.
8. At the install complete window, click OK. This brings you back to the 7th level install options window.
9. Click exit setup, then click yes to verify exit.
10. Click exit to exit the Aptiva Installer and return to your desktop. On your Tuneland CD, there is a file in the G:\GREATWRD directory called twreadme.txt which contains helpful troubleshooting tips as well as installation instructions.
To uninstall / remove Tuneland from your hard disk:
1. From your Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Click on the show installed programs tab.
3. Click once on the Tuneland icon to highlight it and then click on uninstall.
4. Click yes at the following dialog box to confirm file deletion.
5. When uninstall is complete, click OK.
6. Click exit to exit the Aptiva Installer and return to your desktop. This will remove Tuneland from your Aptiva.
