Aptiva - PC Doctor reports my hard drive is failing diagnostics

Symptom:
PC Doctor's diagnostics keeps saying my hard drive failed the funnel seek test, but there doesn't seem to be a problem with the drive.
Answer:
Use Update Connector to download an update for the Windows version of PC Doctor and retest the drive.
Reason:
The was a technical limitation with the original version of the hard drive test. Drives larger that 13 GB will usually fail the funnel seek test unless the update is applied.
