IBM PC300XL - Mouse not seen during initial Windows 95 setup

Users may find that during the initial setup of Windows 95 on IBM PC300XL Series 6588 systems, that the mouse is not recognized by the operating system.
This is not a defect. During the initial setup of Windows 95 the <Tab>, <Enter>, and arrow keys can be used to navigate through the setup windows (e.g. Keyboard, Date/Time Zone, Printer Setup) to complete the first phase of the Windows95 initialization.
After the user has pressed the <Enter> key to restart the system, the mouse will be recognized by the operating system and be fully functional.
