IBM International Warranty Service

This certificate entitles the IBM PC products to receive hardware warranty service until the warranty expiration date. IBM or IBM authorized representatives worldwide will service the product under the local service procedures for this product.

International Warranty Service Coverage

Customers must register their PCs to receive this service internationally. There are four International Warranty Service Offices:
US/Canada - 1 800 7426 (from within the US) or +1 248 740 1215 (from outside the US)
EMEA +44 (0)1475 893638
Japan/China/Korea +81 462 73 7598
Australia/ SE Asia +61 2 9354 4171

International Warranty Service is available for those customers moving products or travelling to countries where their product (as identified by the 4-digit machine type) is serviced by IBM or IBM authorized representatives. Warranty service delivery methods of the servicing country will be in effect. IBM reserves the right to change or modify its service delivery methods by country at any time without notice. Service procedures vary by country, and some service and parts may not be available in all countries because of the laws of that particular country. Some countries have fees that apply where service is provided on-site in remote locations.

The warranty period will be that of the country where the product was purchased. This service does not change IBM's product warranties. IBM warrants IBM products in accordance with the IBM Statement of Limited Warranty provided with the products in the country of purchase.

Laws and Regulations

Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable Unites States and foreign laws and regulations, including without limitation Unites States Department of Commerce regulations regarding the export of restricted technology. Depending on the country and the specific hardware and/or software configuration, other laws and regulations may apply. In addition, customers are responsible for obtaining all necessary clearances required to export or re-export from the country of origin/shipment and import into the country of installation, and shall bear any associated costs, tariffs and duties.
