Aptiva - How to install / uninstall CoSession
Applicable to: United States
To remove cosession from an Aptiva:
1. From the Windows95 desktop, click on start, shutdown, choose the option to restart in msdos mode, and click on yes.
2. At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt type cd\ and press [ENTER].
3. At the C:\> prompt type deltree csw6b6 and press [ENTER].
4. Answer yes to remove all subdirectories.
5. Type exit and press [ENTER] to return to windows.
To reinstall CoSession on an Aptiva:
1. From the Windows 95 desktop, click on start, shutdown, choose the option to restart in msdos mode, and click on yes.
2. At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt, insert the Aptiva Product Recovery CD and wait for the drive light to go on and then off
3. Type c: and press [ENTER].
4. With restore.exe in the root directory of the c: drive*, type the following: restore csw6b6\*.* and press [ENTER].
5. Remove the cd and type exit to return to windows.
