Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Media Player
Applicable to: United States
To remove Media Player from your Aptiva:
1. Click on Start, Settings, and then Control Panel
2. Double click on the Add / Remove Programs icon
3. Click on the Windows Setup tab
4. In the components box, double click on Multimedia
5. Now click on the box next to Media Player to remove the check and then click on OK.
6. Click OK again for previous window. When the Control Panel appears, the process if finished.
To install / reinstall media player:
1. Click on Start, Settings, and then Control Panel
2. Double click on Add / Remove Programs
3. Click the Windows Setup tab
4. In the components box, double click on Multimedia
5. Then click on the box next to Media Player to insert a check.
6. Click on OK. Click OK again for previous window. When the Control Panel window appears, the process is finished.
